Combinaison années 60 oversized avec broderie à la main par Sophie dans notre atelier Showroom Punk and Coton ( aucune machine n'est entré dans la réalisation de cette broderie) . Uniquement desnmains une paire de ciseaux, des fils de coton et une aiguille pour broder.
Le thème qui nous passionne ici c'est le Japon avec un grand maître de la peinture et l'une de ses oeuvres des plus connues la Grand Vague de Kanagawa par HOKUSAI. Cette broderie a été réalisée en point de chaînette. Il aura fallu plus de 1500 heures de travail , de la résilience, être minutieux dans chaques détails, les harmonies des couleurs pour toucher au plus près de l'œuvre de ce peintre japonais.
Un véritable défi, un hommage à ce peintre Hokusai et une pièce unique.
Oversized 1960s jumpsuit with hand embroidery by Sophie in our Punk and Coton Showroom workshop (no machine was used to create this embroidery). All you need is a pair of scissors, cotton thread, and an embroidery needle.
The theme we're passionate about here is Japan, with a great master of painting and one of his most famous works, The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai. This embroidery was done in chain stitch. It took more than 1500 hours of work, resilience, meticulous attention to every detail, and color harmonies to capture the work of this Japanese painter as closely as possible.
A true challenge, a tribute to the painter Hokusai, and a unique piece.
