The Insurgent

L'insoumis Clothing was born from the desire of Eric aka "Rico" to open a shop with the scents of yesteryear to promote the vintage style. After having traveled the world far and wide with the French Navy and then through his second job as a photo journalist in the specialized motorcycle and kustom press, it seemed necessary to him to open his own shop where he would sell second-hand products such as clothes, shoes, etc. But also a line of t-shirts, caps, sweatshirts, embroidered patches with personal or forgotten designs from the counterculture of the 60s and 70s for the most part.

At the same time, Sophie became his partner, who is now developing the customization branch by painting on clothing as well as hand embroidery. An approach, in itself, which aims to be rather neutral on the environment since we are right in the middle of the theme of slow fashion and upcycling because we work on second-hand clothing and do not use subcontractors because we do everything by hand without outside help, thus limiting our travel to one or two big events per year, everything else being done via mail order.
